By: Inez Bracy International, LLC The Florida Grape Growers Association is joining the West Volusia Scene for the first time at the June meeting, where they will be sponsoring a wine tasting of a variety of Florida wine. It is an organization committed to developing a "New Agriculture" Award winning author, radio/TV personality, familiar life coach Inez Bracy teams up with Kinceal Productions of Central Florida put on the event. “We are extremely proud and excited to be producing The West Volusia Scene,” Bracy said. “Local businesses are so vital to our community’s economy, and it’s important to recognize them.” After years of performing in Europe and in the leading hotel circuit on Jamaica’s North Coast, Williams trained in dance, drama and voice at the Nat Horne School for Musical Theatre in New York. Her repertoire includes Jazz, Musical Theatre, Reggae, Soca, R&B, Motown, African and ‘Floribbean’ “We are thrilled to have such an outstanding performer like Sabrina Williams to help us celebrate our second of many wonderful events,” Bracy said. “She is truly a master of her craft.” Williams has appeared on Reggae Sunsplash, Air Jamaica Jazz Festivals, and at Jamaica Jazz, alongside such celebrities as Ziggy Marley, Boys II Men, Nora Jones, Lionel Richie, and many more. “I just love my job,” Williams says, “I’m doing what I love while making people happy.” After enjoying a two year stint on the cruise ship Discovery Sun where she performed nightly for audiences from around the world, Williams now stays busy performing at hotels like the Naples Grande, La Playa, Ritz Carlton, Hyatt, and Marriott, as well as the nation’s finest country clubs and many other great venues. Williams has won numerous awards for her work, including Best Cabaret Artiste for several years, Best Jazz Artiste, and Honour Award 1992 JFM/Tourism. Williams has served as Vice President of the Jamaica Federation of Musicians, Vice President of Jamaica Association of Female Artistes (J.A.F.A.) – which she founded – and is passionate about contributing to the development of youth through music. “The Florida Grape Growers Association is a wonderful organization to work with,” Bracy said of the association. “This is the type of business we are celebrating at our events- those that support and strengthen the community.” The association works collectively with agricultural organizations, state, local, national and other interests to develop awareness about the unique qualities and health benefits of Florida Grapes. It provides a community access network with a wide range of information services available to members and others who are interested in Florida grapes and grape products.
