Fans Create Viral Thank You Video for JRock Band fade's Seventh Album Release

This morning a montage video went viral on Youtube depicting numerous fans from around the globe, all with one thing in common – a love for the J-Rock band fade. The fans wanted to release their thank you video the day before fade’s new album 天 ／Ten becomes available worldwide on June 6th, 2012. Heartfelt “thank yous” were given from the United Kingdom, Bolivia, Chile, Poland, Russia, France and Mexico; just to name a few countries that already have very vocal fan bases for fade. Because of the time difference, 天 ／Ten is already available in Japan.

fade’s fan base is a very active, loyal and viral segment of the overall J-Rock/Visual Kei fan base. Many members across the world have already worked to get fade’s music on local radio stations, cable music stations, secured magazine coverage and have pushed to bring the band to their countries for performances at local venues or universities.

fade is a 5 member Japanese rock band that is based in Tokyo. The album title “Ten” represents the years the band has been performing together. The group is often considered the “California Roll” of rock because of their unique composition. Although the band is headquartered in Tokyo, four members have lived in the US; three are Japanese American, the lead singer is Caucasian and another has lived exclusively in Japan. fade recently toured North America in March 2012 for the Canadian Music Week festival in Toronto and a debut performance in the US at the iconic Webster Hall in New York City. The lead singer Jon Underdown is also a vocalist in the popular rock group, Yellow Fried Chickenz, led by J-Rock icon, Gackt. The remainder of 2012 will bring fade back to North America to tour in the Fall and worldwide.
