Live Auction Items Announced for Methodist ElderCare Services 3rd Annual Golf Classic

June 15, 2012 - PRLog -- Columbus, OH (June 15, 2012) – Methodist ElderCare Services (MES) will host its 3rd Annual Wesley Glen/Wesley Ridge Charity Golf Classic on Monday, July 23, 2012 at Brookside Golf & Country Club, 2770 W. Dublin-Granville Rd., Columbus, OH.

Title Sponsor for the event is Select Medical Rehabilitation Services and Presenting Sponsor is The Joseph Group. Proceeds from the event will benefit the WELLness Center at Wesley Glen, the Chapel and Skilled Nursing Facility at Wesley Ridge and Hospice Services at Methodist ElderCare.

The event begins at 9:30 a.m. with player registration and shotgun start at 11 a.m. The event is not limited to golfers. Following the tournament, guests and players will have a chance to mix and mingle as the event concludes with awards, dinner and auction.

The “O Canada” Package
Dust off your passport, hop in the car with three of your favorite family members/friends and head NORTH to Ontario, Canada!  A six hour drive will take you to the historic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake.

This five day, four night trip for four includes: Lodging at Brockamour Manor, wine country tour, passes to Maid of the Mist Adventure Tour at Niagara Falls, one round of golf at the historic Niagara-on-the-Lake Golf Club, one round of golf at Whirlpool Golf Course, carriage ride around Old Towne, helicopter ride over Niagara Falls and much more. Starting bid: $2,500.

The Warm and Fuzzy Package
Feel the warm sensation of the sun on your face while playing a great round of golf with three of your best friends, drinking a cold beverage, and having Fuzzy Zoeller step onto the tee to be your fifth golfer.

This once-in-a-lifetime experience includes a round of golf for four, with Fuzzy Zoeller as your fifth player, at his home course, Covered Bridge, in Sellersburg, Indiana. Covered Bridge is a Fuzzy Zoeller-designed 18 hole, 72 par course nestled on a gently rolling plane at the foot of Southern Indiana’s famous Floyds Knobs. Date to be chosen according to Fuzzy’s schedule, and must be used within one year of auction purchase. Starting bid: $5,000.
