Follow on Google News | Vizocom Warns Clients about Bad ISPs in Afghanistan for VSAT and Communication ServicesVizocom has been picking up many clients in the past several months ever Since the story was broken that many ISPs are participating in fraudulent activities. Companies have conducted investigations and fraud was indeed being applied.
By: Vizocom While ethics are a key part, there are other key elements as well. First, a new customer should ask whether the ISP is legally licensed with the Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AISA) and with the Afghan Telecom Regulatory Authority (ATRA). Without these two basic licenses -the ISP status in Afghanistan may be faked to make a fast dollar. One other question recommended to ask is where are the earth stations located? Here at Vizocom, earth stations are European and United States based, providing the latest European support and technology. Lastly, one must make sure the company is providing the real bandwidth being quoted. All ISPs must be able to provide MRTG data usage graphs showing the real usage. Without this, one will never know whether it is a 1:1 dedicated connection or a shared 20:1 or 40:1. More customers are switching over to Vizocom in order to receive the best service available.
