TiNK® works with multi-dimensional security that does not rely on the location of the information, and that is aimed at the context (meaning) of the information and knowledge. The unique and simple configuration of security settings in TiNK® allows for the configuration of a security dimension in one rule (group). By classifying an employee in multiple relevant security dimensions, you automatically create a consolidated access profile.

Thanks to virtual dynamic folders and filters, the user has flexible overviews on cross-domain/projects.
Unlike a traditional file system, the TiNK® platform does not work with a fixed folder structure; it uses dynamic virtual folders instead. This way the user is offered the advantage of presenting the information f.ex. paper, e-mail, in a tree structure that best meets your personal wishes and needs at that moment. Views are based on properties (context elements) that have been assigned to the information and offer you the possibility to browse the information from various angles. Examples are:

TiNK® makes it possible to search in a contextual way, much like the human brain. We combine cognitive properties with keywords and content. Thanks to this combination, we can calculate a real relevance score. Practice has taught us that a relevance score of less than 65% means that:

The question is not clear-cut enough

When searching for information, you can also use skeletons. In this case, a contextual search strategy is translated into a sequence of contextual and cognitive properties. Thanks to TiNK®, you will find instead merely search.

Thanks to the mechanism of profile mapping on the basis of content and context representation, the system can quickly detect dynamic associations in a large volume of information, just like the human brain. For instance:

Notification by an “agent” or flexible workflow
Since all information has been enriched with metadata, configuring one or more “agents” — so-called Knowledge Watchers — is extremely easy. Through them, the system is able to notify you when information becomes available that corresponds to certain predefined profiles. These profiles are created on the basis of TiNK® properties.
For instance, all information related to a specific customer and specific technology because you are responsible for it. So, instead of defining formal processes and flows, you define profiles of responsibilities and interests for users. TiNK® will map the information profiles and those users when appropriate.
