Singing Legends on Sampod Webside Now Features Rosemary Clooney And The Crew Cuts

This month, Rosemary Clooney has been added.  Ms Clooney, in her recorded career, had 34 songs which placed on the Hits Charts.She had her own television and radio shows and appeared in several films, notably "White Christmas" with Vera Ellen, Danny Kaye and Bing Crosby.  Her all time biggest hits included: "Hey, There!", "Come On-A My House" and "This Ole House."  She received a life time achievement award the same year that she died, in 2002.
Also added, The Crew Cuts (best known for their immensely popular recording of "ShBoom!") are an early rock and roll group that covered songs that were originated as rhythm and blues songs. Like their counterparts Pat Boone, Georgia Gibbs and the McGuire Sisters, they took the original recordings and gave them a jukebox blend.  Their biggest hit is often considered as one of the major influences on bringing about that musical genere that is still prevalent today.
