New York Fashion Week will get it’s groove on with Just Dance 4 Inspired Looks


New York City (August 20, 2012) – On Tuesday, September 11th at 8 pm Michael Kuluva, LA based designer, will be showing his line, Tumbler and Tipsy at STYLE360 during New York’s Fall Fashion Week at the Metropolitan Pavilion South. Michael’s Spring 2013 collection is his largest collection to date with over 75 handmade unique pieces.   In the first partnership of its kind, Michael has employed his creative prowess to design half of his show with looks inspired by the pop culture darling of the video game industry Just Dance 4. The glitz and playfulness of the Just Dance 4 inspired looks provide a striking balance to the other half of his collection, which is inspired by his time spent in Palm Springs, CA.   Michael weaves the entire collection together with the chic but fun style that defines him as a designer.

From a young age, Michael worked his way up to become one of the youngest, most talented and recognized names in professional figure skating, touring over 600 cities and 40 countries. Now, he is conquering the world of fashion with his brand, Tumbler and Tipsy, which launched in 2009. Traver Rains, formerly of the infamous Heatherette brand, will be co-producing this New York Fashion Week show alongside Michael and STYLE360.

Tumbler and Tipsy is partnering with the world’s No. 1 dance game franchise, Just Dance at Fashion Week this year and mixing things up on the runway by hosting the Just Dance 4 by Tumbler and Tipsy show. Michael is creating exclusive looks inspired by the style, look and feel of Just Dance 4, the next highly anticipated installment in the Just Dance franchise due out on October 9, 2012.  Michael says, “With my figure skating background I also incorporated our signature sequins in new silhouettes and design concepts. I am super excited to debut my new collection at New York Fashion Week since it has always been a dream of mine!"  VIPs and other celebrity guests, including Kendall Jenner and Olympian Alex Morgan will walk down the runway to hit songs from Just Dance 4’s highly anticipated track list.

One of the hottest New York Fashion Week tickets in town, STYLE360 has set itself apart as one of the most unique experiences in the city.  Attendees will experience a high-fashion, celebrity-filled dance party that raises the bar on the energy and entertainment one expects during New York Fashion Week. This event is a multi-day fashion and entertainment environment providing opportunities for designers and brands to collaborate and come face-to-face with industry tastemakers, celebrities, media, and consumers during New York Fashion Week in September and February.

Following this amazing evening the after party will be held at the hottest nightclub in New York City, Pink Elephant, from 9pm-12am, featuring Interscope recording artist Rye Rye and world renowned DJ Cazwell.
