A-1 Self Storage Proudly Supports the UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center in San Diego, CA!

Aug. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- San Diego, CA – A-1 Self Storage, the premier provider of self storage in California, announced today their support of the UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center through a monetary donation and competing in the 19th Annual Longboard Invitational “Surf for the Cure” event that was held on August 19, 2012 at Scripps Beach, La Jolla in San Diego, CA. This event helped raise awareness and funds for cancer research, educational programs, outreach and patient care. The Moores Cancer Center is one of forty National Cancer Institute’s Designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers in the United States.

Each surf team of four is company-sponsored and is paired up with a longboard surfing legend to compete in the surfing contest. Team A-1 Self Storage won the 1st Place trophy this year. The team includes Kolton Gustafson, Devon Howard, Legendary Longboard Surfer – Jock Sutherland, Brian L. Caster and Brian R. Caster.
