Sand Bash on Fort Myers Beach to host Americas first
All Women’s Master Sand Sculpting Championship.

Fort Myers Beach – August 27, 2012 – Sand Bash organizers announce the 3rd annual Sand Bash will be Americas first All Women’s Master Sand Sculpting Championship.
The event will be 10 days long from April 5th to April 14th on Fort Myers Beach behind the Holiday Inn.

“I’ve had the idea of hosting an all-women’s championship for some time” commented Marianne Knight, owner of The Sand Lovers. “There are several dozen extremely talented women master sand sculptors in the world, many of them hold multiple world championship medals, and Sand Bash is the perfect event for them to showcase their talent”.  

Organizers anticipate inviting 10 to 15 Women Master Sand Sculptors. Final details for the event are still being developed with the idea of promoting breast cancer awareness in conjunction with the event.
