Jon Mack Is Doctor Stella In Spiders 3D

Sept. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- When an old Soviet space station suddenly crashes into a New York City subway tunnel in 'Spiders 3D', eight-legged arachnids mutate to gigantic proportions forcing an MTA subway employee to rescue his family and all of New York City from all but certain destruction.  

Writer Farrugia wrote Jon Mack's Doctor Stella character as an intelligent and attractive female.  Off screen Farrugia regards Mack as an independent and strong woman.  In the role of Doctor Stella "she nailed it," Farrugia says.

'Spiders 3D' stars Christa Campbell ('The Iceman, 'Drive Angry') and Patrick Muldoon ('Lies & Illusions', 'Nostradamus') and will hold its premiere on Thursday, September 20th as part of opening night of the Los Angeles 3D Film Festival.  The festival features a diverse collection of both studio and independent films and will be held at the LA Live Regal Cinemas in downtown Los Angeles

Jon Mack is an American actress and musician who first came to national attention with her performance as Ava Gardner in the 1999 Emmy Award winning biopic 'Introducting Dorothy Dandridge' starring Halle Berry. She appeared in the popular 2009 mystery thriller 'Saw VI' and plays Connie in the upcoming sports drama 'Playing For Keeps' starring Gerard Butler and Jessica Biel. Jon is also the lead singer of the electronic group 'Auradrone'.
