Second Place in Frame It All National Contest Awarded to Elena Milano of North Las Vegas, NV

Sept. 13, 2012 - PRLog -- North Las Vegas, Nevada: When national gardening supply company Frame It All released the details about their Summer Vision contest, gardeners across the country were ready to take on the challenge. To do so, they simply needed to show off the beautiful things they’d been doing with Frame It All products. Contestants uploaded pictures of their garden creations to Facebook throughout the summer months so that people could vote on their favorite submissions. Local gardener Elena Milano, with the support of friends and family members, took home a second place prize, a Frame It All Urban Garden 2 Step with PVC Greenhouse.

Elena, a first time gardener, has taken away a lot more than plants and produce from her Frame It All gardening experience. “I didn’t think I’d be able to grow anything in the desert, so I have to tell you, but I said, ‘You know what? Let’s just do it.’ We bought really good quality soil and planted the things we liked. My advice to gardeners? Just do it.”  She was surprised and pleased when she won, telling us, “I saw some of the amazing gardens and I was like ‘Oh my goodness what was I thinking?’” With her prize, she plans on helping her son and his wife start their own garden and making it a fun “family project.”
