Local Realtors® Ready To Show You How To Invest In Real Estate

ATTLEBORO, Mass. - Dec. 7, 2016 - PRLog -- Sheryle DeGirolamo, local CRS BROKER, and Anne Darling, local REALTOR® with KENSINGTON REAL ESTATE BROKERAGE, a boutique real estate firm with offices at 214 North Main Street in Attleboro, MA and 30 Newbury Street in Boston, have successfully completed the specialized real estate investment course entitled "Buying and Selling Income Properties" conducted by the Council of Residential Specialists of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS®.

The two-day course covered the fundamentals of real estate investment, taxes affecting real estate investment, and real estate investment strategies to create wealth. REALTORS® learned how to effectively analyze residential real estate investment opportunities and apply wealth-building strategies. "There are many opportunities for the small investor to invest successfully in real estate," said DeGirolamo, "and we have already begun to apply the procedures covered during this course in our work at Kensington Real Estate Brokerage." Darling added, "It's a great time to invest in real estate, and we wanted to be equipped to help our clients, who are often investors, navigate the real estate investment market."

The real estate investment course is one the classes offered to real estate agents and brokers who work to qualify for the coveted Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation, a symbol of excellence in the real estate industry. "CRS" refers to Certified Residential Specialist; it is the highest professional designation awarded to residential sales agents, managers, and brokers in the residential sales field. The credential, based on sales volume and continuing education, is held by fewer than 3 percent of all REALTORS®. Through education and leadership, CRS real estate professionals offer their clients a high level of service. Ms. DeGirolamo received the regional CRS of the Year Award from the Council of Residential Specialists in 2015 and serves on the Northeast Regional CRS Leadership Team as Education Coordinator.
