Both Michel and Eusebio are members of the U.S. National team and two of the top four action pistol marksmen in the country. The USPSA 2012 Area 7 Championship was held September 7-9 outside of Boston, MA. 200 Competitors from across the country attended the championship that involved 10 stages or courses-of-fire. Each stage stressed different shooting fundamentals, such as running while shooting accurately and shooting partial targets and targets at distance. This championship is the largest, national-level handgun tournament in the northeast. Hirshberg, who has been an action pistol shooter since 2009, has traveled across the country and thus far in 2012, he has competed in 20 national-level events and has placed near the top in most of his tournaments. He is one of the top Master Class shooters in the United States. Marksmanship combined with athletics in a practical format is a relatively new discipline. There is substantially increased attention being paid to this sport via national TV, the Internet, and spectators. Hirshberg is a former software CEO and executive with a large media company.
