Skype Sessions Lecture Series' CRUDE AWAKENING from WA2S to Showcase at NACA Mid-Atlantic Oct 19th!

Sept. 17, 2012 - PRLog -- Ann Arbor, MI  -  Crude Awakening is a multimedia, interactive experience about the animals post - BP Oil Disaster from the Skype Sessions lecture series produced by the World Animal Awareness Society and is one of five Lecture Showcases chosen for the National Association of Campus Activities - NACA Mid-Atlantic Conference from many proposals submitted.

This year’s theme is “Find Your Link @NACA”! Circle October 18-21, 2012 on your calendar and mark it “going to Lancaster, PA for NACA”!  The World Animal Awareness Society will link up with schools from New York, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Pennsylvania to share ideas, and schedule appearances by blocking out dates with multiple NACA members for the Skype Sessions to play at their school.

Appearing on stage presenting his own lecture will also be Darryl "DMC" McDaniels of Run DMC.  Tom McPhee, Executive Director of the World Animal Awareness Society and an award-winning director of film and TV was heard commenting following the announcement of lecture showcases, "I never imagined in my wildest dreams I'd be warming up a stage for DMC!"  "For that matter, I need to look at it this way, as a competition, I want to book more gigs than he does, so I better get my game on!"

Each showcase will last only 15 minutes!

During a full lecture the audience would be engaged from 90 minutes to 2 hours in powerful short films from the World Animal Awareness Society and lucrative dialogue with topic-specific experts and celebrities recognizable from film & TV appearances who Skype into the live panel. Film & TV Producer & Director Tom McPhee is in a unique position when it comes to assembling the most expert of panels on a given subject, often having filmed them in the most dramatic of circumstances in the field. Tom is adept at delivering insightful analysis of each subject using his films and live panel of experts as weapons of mass knowledge!
