Kids R Kids of Cinco Ranch East celebrates 10 years of serving Katy community with free event

Sept. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- This Friday, September 21, from 7:00pm to 8:30pm,
Kids ‘R’ Kids of Cinco Ranch East will be celebrating its tenth anniversary with free activities for the kids and a book drive for the Katy Texas Children’s Hospital! Along with the Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Department, the event will include multiple food vendors, a bounce house, sno-cones, and representatives from 1st Bank of Victoria to talk to parents about setting up savings and college savings accounts for kids. Admission is free, but attendees are requested to bring gently used books to donate to the Katy Texas Children’s Hospital.

Since September 2002,
Kids ‘R’ Kids of Cinco Ranch East has been proud to be a part of the Katy community, bringing some of the nation’s most innovative and effective early childhood education to local children. Parents, as well as students, say it feels more like home than school. “Kids ‘R’ Kids Cinco Ranch East is my child’s second home,” says Vicki Hall, whose son has been attending the school for nearly 10 years, since he was 3-months-old.  “I have been extremely comfortable with my son at the school.”

Dawn Tejero, Kids ‘R’ Kids School Operations Director, feels it is an honor to serve Katy in this way. “It is our privilege to be a part of an organization that offers high quality education to young children, say Tejero.” School Program Director, Karen Corekin, agrees, “Our program is comprehensive and our teachers understand what young children need to be successful.
