Community leaders and caring citizens will be joining together to celebrate and help animals!
By: Animal World USA In the spotlight are animal adoption events across the state, low cost & free spay/neuter events, R.E.A.D. dog programs in libraries, children’s book donations to libraries, low cost microchipping, 5K's, ‘Fall in Love’ adoption weekend, blessings of the animals, student activities for the animals, statewide art project supported by Dolly Parton/Dollywood & Memphis Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum, Carr Ranch horse/burro adoption events, Tennessee Aquarium events, scores of offsite adoption events, Veggie meetups, book signing with author Bianca Phillips, University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine students highlighting their animals, photo shoots, yappy hours, shelter/beautification improvements, farm animal sanctuary events, nature activities, wildlife center outdoor activities, donation drives, dog washes to benefit shelters and therapy animals visiting hospitals and living-assisted homes. Also in the spotlight are a salute to our working K-9 and handlers, motorcycle ride for American Indian student scholarships, care & safety seminars and fun-filled festivals for families to enjoy friendship, food, music on behalf of the always amazing animals and more. Scores of precious lives will be saved and exciting new relationships will be built in communities everywhere during the dynamic week.
