Motorcyclists to Hold Fund Raiser for "Share the Road" Education Program

Motorcyclists will be holding a fund raiser to support ABATE of Wisconsin's "Share the Road" drivers awareness education program.
 
Sept. 26, 2012 - PRLog -- On September 29th, the Badger State Riders will be holding a fund raiser to help support ABATE of Wisconsin's "Share the Road" program. The fund raiser will be held from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the 'It Ain't Heaven' tavern located at S91 W27580 W. National Ave., Mukwonago, WI. There will be live music by 'Cover to Cover', door prizes, 50/50 raffles as well as food available. 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the "Share the Road" program.

ABATE of Wisconsin's “Share the Road” program is a driver education motorcycle awareness program that promotes driver awareness and increases understanding of how motorcycles behave in traffic. ABATE of Wisconsin hopes to make drivers aware of their responsibility of sharing the road. ABATE of Wisconsin provides trained volunteers to present the program to driver education students using DVD or Powerpoint. They believe that education and training are the best ways to prevent and reduce crashes. They also believe that crash prevention is the key to reducing injuries and fatalities on our nation’s roads and highways.

ABATE of Wisconsin, Inc. which was founded in 1974 is a motorcycle rights and safety organization dedicated to "Freedom of the Road." ABATE of Wisconsin's goal is to give the motorcyclists of Wisconsin a strong, united voice with regard to their future, their way of life, their safety, and their legal rights as motorcyclists and citizens.
