“Pajama Drive for Children in Need”

Sept. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- SCOTTS VALLEY, CA – 9/30/2012 “Thousands of children served by Pajama Program live in orphanages, group homes and shelters. In the U.S. foster care system, alone, there are more than 500,000 children. Many have been abandoned or abused, and have never enjoyed the simple comfort of putting on a cozy pair of pajamas and having a mother or father tuck them in at bedtime and read to them. Teens in the system have often spent most of their childhood without warm sleepwear. Since 2001, Pajama Program has provided more than one million pairs of new pajamas and books to children in need.”
This October, make a difference…..come visit Town Center Collection located at 237 Blue Bonnet Drive in Scotts Valley between October 1st-31st to donate new pajamas for Santa Cruz County kids in need: all ages, all sizes and City Ventures, will match up to 50 pairs of new pajamas (up to a $500 value) in return.
