Greensboro, NC, Friday, October 12, 2012—Speakerpreneur Toastmasters Club, District 37, Division F, Club # 1407099 (www.speakerpreneur.org), invites Guilford, Forsyth, and Alamance county entrepreneurs and business owners to a Taste of Toastmasters, Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 5:30-7:30 pm, at the Cafeagency 400 East Wendover Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27401.

During "A Taste of Toastmasters", members of the Speakerpreneur Toastmasters Club will share a taste of the speaking and professional development organization that is Toastmasters.  In addition the event serves as an opportunity for other area clubs to come together and introduce themselves to each other in a relaxed environment.

Taste of Toastmasters builds on the club’s recent theme called the 20 Second Impact Statements, which connected members and guests on the effect that their business has on people as opposed to just telling people what they do.  "Letting people in on the impact of your business makes a difference in how people view your business", says VP of Public Relations, Chisa D. Pennix-Brown.  Another part of this event is a talk about Giving and Receiving Effective Feedback for our  Area 54 Governor and President of Speakerpreneur Toastmasters, William "Bill" Brown “Getting effective Feedback is an important part of Toastmasters, and this event will give you “taste” of that Toastmaster’s experience says Brown.

A Taste of Toastmasters is a free event for the community and we want to support local businesses in the community.  Cafeagency is a new concept in the business world that melds a Nationwide Insurance Agency and a Cafe Coffee Shop.  Speakerpreneur Toastmasters club operates in many ways similar to Cafeagency in the aspect that we are a professional speaking club, but we specifically focus on empowering individuals and entrepreneurs.
