A dramatic story of forbidden love, the story revolves around an ambitious DJ and the beautiful night club singer who he is trying to make a star.

Memphis earned four Tony Awards in 2010, including the award for Best Musical. It was adapted from a book by Joe DiPietro called I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, and is based on a true story.

Cathy Rigby is Peter Pan

November 20-25, 2012

Run Time: 2 hours and 20 minutes

Recommended for all ages

We all remember Cathy Rigby as the cute little gymnast who won Gold in the Olympics. After her gymnastic career ended, she went on to become an analyst for the next 18 years with ABC Sports. Still full of energy and ambition after leaving TV broadcasting, Rigby spent seven years training her voice and learning how to become a theatrical actress.

Cathy Rigby, at 60 years of age, puts on a dynamic and energetic performance as Peter Pan. Her voice is very strong as she belts out all of the songs that make her a favorite among children. She is still very limber and incredibly athletic as she flies high above the stage and performs acrobatic moves around the stage.

The Broadway production of Peter Pan was twice nominated for a Tony Award and was the winner of two Emmy Awards. Critics have given Rigby and the other members of the cast rave reviews for this new look at a childhood classic. Kids and kids at heart will love Broadway San Jose's performance of Cathy Rigby is Peter Pan.

Rock of Ages

January 29-February 3, 2012

Run Time: 2 hours and 20 minutes

Recommended: for ages 14 and up

Generations can be identified by the popular music of the day. The older generation may remember back to the Big Band age of Tommy Dorsey and Glenn Miller. Those turning 60 are probably fans of Frank Sinatra or maybe Andy Williams. The 60s saw the British Invasion and the emergence of the Hippie movement. We went through the Disco Age in the 70s and that led into the 80s and the background music for Rock of Ages.

The year was 1987 and the scene is the famous Sunset Strip. A small town girl meets a big city rocker in the biggest rock club in Los Angeles. Love blossoms and the romantic story is told through the classic hits of the best 80's rock concert bands.

The five-time Tony nominated Broadway production is a high-energy compilation of songs from Journey, Twisted Sister, Poison, REO Speedwagon and many more. If you grew up during this time, you can't help but sing along with those nostalgic favorites. Don't Stop Believin that this will be a great show!
