RIZE Teams Up with Stride Gum to Launch Their New Music Video "L.D.O."

Oct. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- The popular Japanese rock band RIZE launched their first single in two years last week, titled L.D.O. or Local Defense Organization. The single is their latest release since moving to Warner Music Japan earlier this year and helps to kick off their Fall tour in Japan, which is also sponsored by Stride Gum. With the tagline “support your local” referenced frequently in their single L.D.O., RIZE references the need for communities to support each other and for individuals within those communities to be active and participating members. The music video also features a pairing with Stride Gum, the popular gum brand that promotes long lasting and unique flavors. The Stride characters Endless, Unlimited, AllDay and Everlasting make guest appearances in the video along with a branded animated caricature of RIZE.

RIZE is a three piece Japanese rock band that is iconic in the Japanese music scene. Founded in 2000, the band has reached various benchmarks including performing on stage opposite Jay Z & Lincoln Park as well as at high profile events like Live 8 and Earth 8. They’re also in the unique position of being a band comprised of members who are as equally successful through their solo ventures as they are when they perform together. Jesse McFaddin (vocals & guitar) is known for his clothing line as well as his solo ventures into hip-hop. KenKen (bass) has also performed with well-known acts such as Prince, Alicia Keys and Bootsie Collins. NK (drums) is a celebrated actor, appearing in countless drama series and movies in Japan. With their recent move to Warner Music Japan this year, the band is placing a stronger emphasis on connecting with their international fan base.

L.D.O. dropped on October 17th in Japan but is available worldwide through iTunes. Physical copies of the single come complete with popular tracks from previous albums including Respect, Kami and Ghost.
