Perfections Salon is Calling All Curly Girls -- Learn to Love Your Curls at Free Event!

Oct. 29, 2012 - PRLog -- Montgomery, Ohio-based Perfections Salon invites all Curly Girls to its "Calling All Curly Girls" event on Saturday, November 10, 2012 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. The event will include demonstrations of the dry cutting technique used on curly hair, and appropriate techniques for cleansing, conditioning, gelling, scrunching and drying curly hair.

"The heart of this event centers around loving the natural curl you were born with," Perfections Salon Managing Director Jill Wiltberger said. "Especially in the Greater Cincinnati area, natural Curly Girls seem to be fighting a never-ending battle against frizz. We take care of a lot of Curly Girls here at Perfections, and we teach them how to take back their curls and win the fight against frizz!"

The event will include demonstrations of the Deva Cut by Perfections Salon Artistic Director Kenneth R. Collopy. Collopy, who has developed his own dry cutting technique over his 50-year career, has been named by the Deva Concepts company a "Deva Inspired Stylist." He and his staff of trained hydration therapists will demonstrate appropriate techniques, tips and tricks on how to manage, style and maintain gorgeous, perfectly defined frizz-free locks using Deva Curl products.

According to Ms. Wiltberger, the event is free to the public, but all participants must be pre-registered. "We want to make sure we have room for everyone planning to attend," she said. "We will offer refreshments and goody bags with samples of the Deva Curl products, product and service giveaways and a one-night only Deva Curl product discount for attendees. After the demonstrations, the staff will provide free individual curl consultations for as many participants as possible."
