SuperGIS Software Supports for Sustainable Aquaculture Development in Kuwait

Seafood farming, also known as aquaculture, is one of the main food resources on Earth. With the gradually decreasing quantities in wild fisheries over the past years, aquaculture has become the newest and major growing sector of agriculture. In order to promote environmentally safe and sustainable aquaculture in Kuwait, PAAF establishes a dynamic geodatabase of aquaculture and the data update mechanism to facilitate data integration and utilization of marine resources.

By employing SuperGIS 3D Analyst 3, PAAF can visualize and analyze surface change and create perspective drawings for efficient aquaculture planning. SuperGIS Biodiversity Analyst 3 helps perform marine environment and ecology analysis to support marine conservation and aquaculture resource management. Besides, SuperGIS Server 3 enables the administrators to update, maintain, and distribute data to perform real-time and advanced analysis for better decision making.
