Ayrsley Kicks off 2012 Toys for Tots Drive

Nov. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- Today the Town of Ayrsley kicked off their annual Toys for Tots drive after a successful 2011 campaign that filled a 16 foot U-Haul with 1,168  toys.  Since 2010, the drive has collected over 2,100 donated toys.

“We are excited to do this again; we have some additional partners on board this year and hope to surpass last year’s total,” said Chris Stulginsky

Drop locations have once again been established in Ayrsley and around the area to allow for ample donation locations.

In Ayrsley drop boxes can be found at Ayrsley Town Rehab, Harry's Grille and Tavern, Fintastic, Pi Kappa Phi, Regus, Wild Wing Café, Ayrsley Grand Cinemas, Colonial Grand, National Recovery Solutions, Sportslink, DeVry, Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites and Bucketts.

Additionally, drop location have also been established outside of Ayrsley at Scott Jaguar on Tyvola Rd., The Dorchester or Dorman Road (Pineville), Carmel Place Retirement Home  (Pineville), Olde Mecklenburg Brewery in Charlotte and Cici’s Pizza on Carowinds Blvd.

Olde Mecklenburg Brewery will serve a free pint with a toy donation at the lighting of their Christmas tree on December 1st.

Harry’s Grille and Tavern will offer 10% of dinner total with a toy donation.

Any person who donates a toy at Ayrsley Town Rehabilitation will be entered into a drawing for a Visa gift card of 25 dollars.

The drive  will conclude on December 8th.
