Jesse McFaddin Opens Up to Urban Ink Magazine About His Tattoos, Music & Inspiration!

Nov. 28, 2012 - PRLog -- In their December issue, Urban Ink interviews Jessie McFaddin, the frontman for the Japanese rock band RIZE who just released his first solo project STAND UP. Urban Ink is a US tattoo magazine that covers all things related to people of color within the ink community.  Now in their fifth year the publication is a fixture within the ink community, highlighting notable people of color from tattoo artists, to models, music artists/actors and ink aficionados. Every issue features a segment on “up and coming” music artists that are emerging and creating a buzz in the US entertainment scene.

The December Urban Ink issue is available in print or digital editions and features Jesse‘s more memorable and notable ink! In particular, Jesse discusses his inspiration and the meaning behind his most recognizable back piece that doubles as the logo for his record label Tensaibaka. In the interview, the triple threat musician/producer, clothing designer and philanthropist discusses his current projects including his new solo album STAND UP that was released in November 2012 and his philanthropic projects with international charities and ecological organizations.

Jesse McFaddin is the lead singer of the group RIZE, a three piece rock band that is a fixture in the Japanese rock scene. Now in their twelfth year and with seven official albums under their belt, the band is focusing their attention on their growing fan base  outside of Japan. Likewise, Jesse sees his new solo album STAND UP as an opportunity to explore his creativity beyond the rock genre. The sixteen track album includes the sultry break out track, 2 of US, which is a duet with the American dance/pop artist Julissa Veloz. The track and album have been positively received by listeners, with 2 of US garnering over 100,000 plays within one week of release.
