Center for Excellence in Education Announces TEP Roundtable

Jan. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Center for Excellence in Education (CEE) invites Virginia high school teachers to participate in in CEE’s inaugural and unique Teacher Enrichment Program Teacher Roundtable. This novel and cost free professional development opportunity will showcase four teachers who are currently serving as Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellows at National Science Foundation (NSF) and National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).

The Teacher Roundtable provides a one-of-a-kind opportunity to interact with nationally recognized, award-wining teachers in STEM fields. Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellows are recognized for their exceptional methods in STEM teaching. They will share some of their STEM teaching strategies as well as provide attendees with a variety of professional development resources available at national and international levels.

About the Einstein Fellowship: The Albert Einstein Distinguished Educator Fellowship Program provides a unique professional development opportunity for accomplished K-12 educators in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to serve in the national education arena. Fellows spend eleven months working in a Federal agency or in a U.S. Congressional office, bringing their extensive knowledge and experience in the classroom to education program and/or education policy efforts.
