Follow on Google News | Hot New Menu at Handi in Taj Palace Hotel DubaiThe award winning Handi Restaurant at the Taj Palace Hotel Dubai is celebrating the New Year with an extensive new menu.
If you are in a mood for a quick lunch, the Handi menu offers a sumptous Business Thali priced at AED95 for vegetarian or AED115 for non-vegetarian. The selection includes four curries, naan, rice and dessert and accompanied by a fresh lassi. A tempting Duster Khwan set menu is the highlight of the evenings and includes a soup, a choice of vegetarian or non-vegetarian starter and main course, naan or tandoori roti and dessert, priced at AED140 and AED180 respectively. For a la carte dining, guests can opt for chef specialities such as a classic Lucknow Galavati Kabab, Subz E Handi vegetarian stir-fry, black lentil dhal or a Dum Gosht Biryani, as well as salads, soups and more. From the tandoor, there is an irresistible menu comprising lobster and lamb, prawns, hammour and chicken dishes as well as sharing platters for two – either fish and meat or vegetarian - ideal for those who find it difficult to make a choice. Vegetarian delights include paneer variations, aloo dishes and a signature five lentil yellow dhal, while non-vegetarian creations range from fish curries and fresh lobster to spiced chicken as well as Dubai’s best curry, the Gosht Korma Awadhi. Other treasures from the kitchen are exquisite biryanis, perfected in a traditional copper handi, covered with dough to retain flavours, with a choice of prawn, fish, lamb, chicken and vegetarian variations. To round off a feast, accompaniments include freshly-cooked variations of paratha, naan and roti, while the tantalizing sweet menu features gulab and cottage cheese dumplings, Shahi Tukra, a traditional Mughal bread delicacy flavoured with saffron, Indian ice cream or exotic fruit platter. According to Samer Abiad, Director of Food & Beverage, the new menu has been designed to live up to the thriving reputation of Handi as the Best Indian Restaurant in Dubai. “With a large number of Indian restaurants in Dubai competition is really strong. However, few serve north Indian cuisine as authentic as Handi. We know our chefs have come up with an excellent selection of dishes that are bound to delight our guests.” Time: 7pm to 11.30pm To book call 04-2232222 For more information about the hotel visit http://www.tajhotels.com For media contact: Hina Bakht Vice President MPJ (Marketing Pro-Junction) Mob: 050 697 5146 h.bakht@mpj- http://www.mpj- End
