Northern Arizona SCORE Call for Volunteers

Jan. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- The Northern Arizona Chapter of SCORE is calling out to all people with experience in business to use their business knowledge, skills and abilities to help others by becoming a SCORE Volunteer Business Mentor in Northern Arizona.

SCORE Volunteer Mentors meet with clients to provide free business counseling and direction in face-to-face meetings at one of the SCORE offices in Northern Arizona, via telephone conferences and emails.  The 35 Northern Arizona SCORE Mentors have experiences spanning a variety of businesses and business environments in the public and private sectors and not-for-profit entities.  Mentors quite often meet with clients in group meetings, so no Volunteeer Mentor need feel like they need to know everything -- there is lots of support from SCORE at the local and national level.

SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small businesses get off the ground, grow and achieve their goals through education and mentorship. We have been doing this for nearly fifty years. Because the work of SCORE is supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), and thanks to our network of 12,000+ volunteers, SCORE is able to deliver counseling services to small business startups and existing small businesses at no charge.  SCORE also conducts low-cost local business building workshops throughout the year.
