Influenced by her Latin background, Montealegre chose a tranquil color palette for her first collection emphasized with punch prints and intricate beading. The line also features beach bags and accessories in bold graphics, hand woven by the women of a small indigenous tribe in Colombia. Rounding out the collection are full-length evening gowns and apparel created using luxurious silks and accentuated with delicate details.  

Montealegre draws inspiration from all elements of travel while maintaining a strong focus on functionality and construction. “Fit is extremely important, the garment should enhance the woman’s body effortlessly allowing her to feel confident and comfortable,” explains the designer. “Every item of the collection has a story which is shared to ignite a connection with the Raiza woman,” she continues.

With prices ranging from $99 to $215 for swimwear, $89 to $599 for resort wear and $35 to $450 for accessories, the collection will appeal to style-savvy women who need timeless travel pieces designed to keep up with her lifestyle.
