Toddler and Child Day at the Dentist in Sault Ste Marie!

Feb. 20, 2013 - PRLog -- Northern Dental Care's Toddler and Child Day at the Dentist Program resumes  on Saturday March 2, 2013 from 10am-1pm.  Our FREE dental program provides a positive and fun first start in dentistry for children!

Since the start of the program 1.5 years ago we have had many children visit our dental office and have had a great first dental start!  What started off as a program for young children has turned into much more...We have introduced and reintroduced dentistry to young children and also those 'older' children who have had negative dental experiences in the past or those who are just plain frightened of going to the dentist. We are proud to say we have broken down barriers through educating children about the dentistry, dental procedures and equipment so they understand the process.We believe when the unknowns in dentistry are eliminated dental appointments can become less stressful, thus allowing prevention based dentistry to be provided. Our goal is to allow all children in Sault Ste. Marie to have a fun and positive first start in our dental practice.

The team at Northern Dental Care welcomes children and their parents to our Toddler and Child Day at the Dentist Program. To participate in our program, you may call our office to book a complimentary dental appointment.  Each dental visit is 1/2 hour in length in which we provide dental cleaning by our dental hygienists and a complete dental examination by Dr.Biasucci and Dr. Haas. This program is 100% volunteer-run by the dental staff and dentists at Northern Dental Care.

During the dental appointment we welcome dental questions by parents, allow the children to explore the dental equipment/office and provide teeth healthy snacks. For those children who are feeling comfortable we provide dental cleaning and examination free of charge. Each child will go home with a dental goody bag!
