Feb. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- On Saturday, March 2, 2013 from 10:00am- 2:00 pm, Science, Engineering and Mathematics Link Inc. (SEM Link) will host its 3rd Annual San Francisco Bay Area Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Career Fair and Exhibition at Laney College Student Center.  The Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Career Fair and Exhibition is the signature event for the Math and Science Career Academy. The annual event, which is free and open to the public, allows students to visit and move freely among exhibitor tables and activities.  STEM professionals and graduate students from organizations such as Bio-Rad, Clorox, the California Department of Transportation, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA),  P G & E, Rocket 21, University of California at Berkeley, among others will be there to share their passion for STEM with attendees, discuss their careers, conduct hands-on demonstrations and showcase real world applications of math and science. “It is important for youth to experience what they can become when they grow up.  Our STEM Career Fair provides a dynamic outside of classroom learning experience for students to pique their interest and stir up their passions in STEM” said Stephanie A. Lee, SEM Link STEM Career Fair Coordinator.

This event is free and open to the public; however pre-registration is strongly suggested at http://semlink3rdsfbaystemfair.eventbrite.com
