Santa and Mrs. Claus go to the Broward Partnership for the Homeless

March 8, 2013 - PRLog -- This annual party took place at the Homeless Shelter in Sunrise, Florida. Santa made 29 children believe in him that day, and brought them joy for the holiday season. For the past 4 years, the Charitable Foundation has assisted Claudette Bruck (real estate Broker, Commissioner in Coral Springs, and Trustee) in hosting this party, which gives each child toys, clothes and shoes, as well as refreshments. Prior to this, Claudette hosted this event on her own. The REALTOR® Association of Greater Fort Lauderdale Charitable Foundation was started in 1987 for the purpose of helping those who have specific needs which cannot be met by any other source.

It was able to channel over $350,000 for hurricane disaster relief and more than $9,000 was contributed for Tsunami Relief, two children’s playgrounds were built in Broward County, a team of students was sponsored to attend the Special Olympics as well as ongoing contributions for other needs in our communities.

The Foundation needs your contributions to continue helping those with special needs. Every contribution you make is significant. The Charitable Foundation is a tax exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and Regulations.
