Eat-Sip-Love! at the Wilton Manors Wine & Food Festival, April 6th, 2013 benefitting Poverello

March 9, 2013 - PRLog -- March 7, 2013 – Wilton Manors, FL - Indulge your palate at the inaugural presentation of the Wilton Manors Wine & Food Festival to benefit Poverello. Join private chefs, local restaurants, wines from around the world and South Florida’s own highly praised gastronomy scene for a night of Eat-Sip-Love!, topped off with wine mixer, fundraiser, silent auction, art and live musical performances. An epicurean adventure unlike any other as it attracts a diverse audience of food enthusiasts and wine aficionados from Wilton Manors, Greater Ft. Lauderdale, Bayview, Middle River and surrounding communities.

The Wilton Manors Wine and Food Festival will take place on Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at 2430 NW 13th Avenue, Wilton Manors, FL 33305. The Red Ribbon Vineyard VIP Lounge opens at 5:00pm. General admission is $50.00 or $75.00 at the door. VIP admission is $75.00 or $100.00 at the door. Taste our love for culinary perfection and fine wine indulgence in this intimate “Village” affair that captures the Napa Valley charm.  It is also a great opportunity for local and national wine and food businesses to showcase their finest offerings to South Florida wine enthusiasts. The Wilton Manors Wine and Food Festival’s non-profit partner, Poverello makes a measurable impact in our community by providing life-saving food and basic life essentials to youth, women and men living with HIV / AIDS.  Poverello provides over 61,000 meals per month to our HIV / AIDS community.

Poverello provides those who have HIV/AIDS and are in poverty with food and other resources. Poverello is primarily a volunteer organization dedicated to meeting the nutritional needs of its clients through the distribution of free groceries and clothing from its food bank and thrift shop. Poverello is dedicated to honor the dignity of all its clients and serve them with the highest possible degree of understanding, respect and love, thereby easing the stress and loneliness caused by the HIV/AIDS virus.
