The 2014 Camaro SS Will Be Unveiled at the 2013 New York Auto Show

For the 2014 model year, the Camaro SS will be completely redesigned. Very little is known about the vehicle and only a few, unrevealing photos have been released to tease the announcement. The car is expected to be fully unveiled at the New York Auto Show.

A complete redesign will offer the most changes to the model since the fifth generation Camaro was released for the 2009 model year. For the last three years, the Camaro has been the top-selling sports car in the United States, beating out even the Mustang. Chevy hopes to keep the top spot with this new generation. Ford is expected to offer some stiff competition with the 50th Anniversary edition of the Mustang next year, but Biggers Chevrolet still expects the Camaro to come out on top.

The North American International Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan often comes across as the most important auto show of the year, but the New York Auto Show is the first and largest show in the country. This year will mark its 113th anniversary, which will be held in the 900,000 square-foot Jacob Javits Convention Center.

While the 2014 Camaro is still some ways away, the 2013 Chevy Camaro is currently at Biggers Chevrolet. Starting at $23,345, it’s available in coupe and convertible body styles. The 2013 Camaro features a standard 3.6L V6 capable of 323 hp and 278 lb-ft of torque while the Camaro ZL1 offers a 6.2L V8 producing 580 hp and 556 lb-ft of torque.
