TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - March 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Florida Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (FLESGR) Day Events Scheduled for Thursday, May 23, 2013

FLESGR conducts an annual Statement of Support Pledge with a hosting State Law Enforcement Agency. The last two years the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) has assisted the FLESGR, an agency of the Department of Defense. The support from agencies statewide has grown rapidly and large turnouts are expected at the various “strategic sites” across the state of Florida. All events will begin at 1 p.m. (ET / 12 p.m. CT) at the designated sites.

State law enforcement officials and members of the Florida State Law Enforcement Chief’s Association (SLECA) will sign a Statement of Support (SOS) at 1 p.m. (ET / 12 p.m. CT) on May 23, 2013 to demonstrate their annual support of these vital military components in the state of Florida. State and local government officials, civic, business, and military leaders will be in attendance.  
ESGR is a Department of Defense organization and its committee members volunteer their time in support of the men and women of the Guard and Reserve, their families and employers.  There are 11,000 employers in the state of Florida that have hired National Guard and Reserve personnel.
