Saturday Brunch with the Beatles in Costa Mesa

COSTA MESA, Calif. - April 5, 2013 - PRLog -- COSTA MESA, Calif. / Beatles tribute band, Abbey Road, will perform at the Inaugural Rock & Roll Brunch on Saturday, April 27 at the Acapulco Restaurant & Cantina in Costa Mesa.

"A Beatles Brunch made sense for the first event of the series since Beatles tribute bands are typically requested more than others," said Mark Knass, one of the promoters for the series.

Abbey Road was selected to be the first band of the series because of their tight harmonies and flawless note for note instrumental renditions of Beatle hits.  The four band members also capture the unique personality and charm of the Beatle they portray, including their familiar head bobs, toe taps and patter between songs. Abbey Road's band members are age-appropriate for the early Beatles and it seems like you are back in the 1960's watching a live performance of Paul, John, George and Ringo.

The show will take place in an intimate setting at the Acapulco Restaurant's outdoor patio with seating for 200 guests.  There will be a 10:00 am seating and a second seating at 12:30 pm with prices starting at only $25 per person including a buffet brunch with a live performance by Abbey Road.

The promoters are planning a series of local Rock & Roll brunches featuring top tribute bands with the music of the Beatles, Rolling Stones, Journey, Elvis, Jimmy Buffet, Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Elton John, Billy Joel, Rod Stewart and other rock legends.
