JWOWW Hosts iTAN Sun Spray Spa’s Annual Miss iTAN 2013 Event on April 27 at Stingaree, The Gaslamp

SAN DIEGO - April 15, 2013 - PRLog -- San Diego will experience a little bit of The Jersey Shore when MTV star, beauty guru, and author, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, hosts iTAN Sun Spray Spa®’s sixth annual Miss iTAN 2013 event on April 27 from 8 to 10 p.m. at Stingaree in the Gaslamp.

iTAN Sun Spray Spa, voted San Diego's number one tanning salon by the community, five years in a row, is one of Southern California’s fastest growing, franchised tanning and spa salons. Miss iTAN is an annual lifestyle competition sponsored by iTAN to find a fresh, new face to represent the brand while promoting a balanced and confident lifestyle throughout Southern California.

“Beauty and fitness have always been two of my great passions,” said Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, “So partnering with iTAN for this event is a natural fit!”

Farley will participate in the event as iTAN’s celebrity judge and will help select Miss iTAN 2013.

In addition to participating in the Miss iTAN event, Farley will also be making guest appearances at two iTAN Sun Spray Spa salons:

•April 26 (7 to 8 p.m.) – iTAN El Cajon: 1125 Avocado Avenue, El Cajon, CA 92020

•April 27 (10 to 11 a.m.) – iTAN Mission Valley: 925 Camino De La Reina, San Diego, CA 92108

This is second year that the Miss iTAN event will be hosted at Stingaree in the Gaslamp, located at 454 6th Avenue, San Diego, CA 92101.

“Miss iTAN 2012 was an extremely successful event,” said Michael McShane, Marketing and Entertainment Manager for Stingaree. “We anticipate an even bigger and better event this year, and look forward to continuing our relationship with iTAN.”

The Miss iTAN 2013 judging panel will include:

Miss iTAN will receive a $1,000 cash prize, a year of unlimited iTAN Sun Spray and Spa services, and will become the new, featured face of the brand.

The Miss iTAN 2013 Finalists were selected through an online Facebook contest on iTAN’s Facebook Page.

San Diego-based Diesel Salon, will be the official hair sponsor for Miss iTAN 2013 and will style Farley’s hair and makeup for the event. Guests of the event will enjoy a hosted bar from 8 to 9 p.m.
