NLC Inc Announces Charity Tournament for Operation Smile

SAN FRANCISCO - April 18, 2013 - PRLog -- This June, NLC Inc is putting on an exciting event to help Operation Smile: a charity beer pong tournament.

Operation Smile is an international charity which helps provide surgeries and healthcare for children who are suffering from cleft lips and cleft palates. Throughout the world, these children struggle to eat, speak, and smile and often live their lives ostracized by their communities. One in 10 will die before their first birthday.

NLC Inc is trying to change that. On June 8th 5pm - close, Molloy's Tavern will be host to some of the most competitive teams in San Francisco and the surrounding area. There will be local teams in the tournament that night, as well as every one of the NLC Inc management team.

“We are very excited to get the opportunity to help out a charity like Operation Smile,” said Nick Peterson, president of NLC Inc and all of the staff being involved. “It's great to be able to bring our community together to make a big impact on a less fortunate community. We are looking forward to the event to get the awareness out there and have some fun at the same time."

All proceeds from the event will go to raise money for Operation Smile to help support their surgical missions throughout the world.

"Charities are my passion,” explained NLC Inc’s Cherokii Verduzco, who is organizing the event. “To be able to give back to the community and provide a smile to everyone around the world. It’s great to be a part of something that is selfless."

The NLC Inc charity tournament event will also host t-shirt sales and various other opportunities that will be raising funds to support Operation Smile.

The cost of the beer pong tournament is low, as all it takes is $20 for a team to participate in the charity tournament, and a portion of all money spent on t-shirts at Molloy's Tavern’s will be donated to Operation Smile.
