SW Florida Chapter of Florida Public Relations Association Names Conference Scholarship Recipients

FORT MYERS, Fla. - May 1, 2013 - PRLog -- The Southwest Florida Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association (FPRA) recently awarded scholarships for the annual Florida Public Relations Association’s state conference to be held at the Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club on August 4-7, 2013. Full conference scholarships valued at $695 were awarded to Janelle Beaber and Carla Ulakovic. Partial scholarships valued at $400 to be used for a single day or toward a full conference registration were awarded to Betsy Clayton; Gail Dolan, MBA; Jaimie Duthoy; Kate Gooderham, APR, CPRC; Madison Mitchell; and Heidi Taulman.  

This year’s FPRA state conference will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Florida Public Relations Association and will offer a range of excellent speakers. Some of the topics will include optimizing digital communications, corporate social responsibility, overcoming challenges, handling challenging media situations, and more.
