The Springs at Whitefish to Offer Family Support Group for Memory Care

WHITEFISH, Mont. - May 6, 2013 - PRLog -- The Springs at Whitefish, a senior retirement community with Assisted Living and Memory Care, has announced the scheduling for their “Family Matters Support Network”.  This support group will meet every 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6 pm starting May 15th.  The session is designed to help families cope with the challenges and stress of having a loved one who experiences memory loss, Alzheimer’s or other memory related issues.

“We really felt it was important for families to get together and be able to discuss with our staff the challenges that they are experiencing, and to realize that they are not alone.  It gives them the opportunity to share stories and meet others in similar situations.“ stated Ben Boulter, Executive Director at The Springs at Whitefish.

The “Family Matters Support Network” will focus on various topics during each session, and also allow for question and answer in an open forum.  Any interested individuals or families are invited to attend and there is no charge for attending.  Call the community for more information- 406-862-6322.
