Theresa Forrest Photography Bails On Client Two Weeks Before Wedding

May 20, 2013 - PRLog -- As if the preparation for a wedding doesn’t come with enough stress, having your photographer bail on you two weeks before your special day is the last thing you expect to happen.

For a couple in Brockport, PA, one of the surrounding towns where Theresa Forrest Photography offers her services, that is exactly what they experienced by the so-called professional photographer.

“We were introduced to Theresa Forrest photography through a friend, and she gladly offered her services for our wedding,” said Chris Cella.  “She even went as far as offering to shoot our wedding at no charge in exchange for a hotel room in Atlantic City where we are getting married.  Then without any warning, she sent my fiancé a text saying she would be unable to photograph our wedding for us.”

Theresa Forrest Photography claimed she was only doing a favor for a friend in coming to our wedding and lending her services, and that since the friend was no longer a part of the wedding, she didn’t feel right about providing us with the photography as promised.

“We shopped around for a photographer for weeks, and felt at ease when we believed we secured Theresa Forrest Photography.  From what we saw she did quality work, but never did I imagine the lack of professionalism and immaturity of cancelling on us two weeks before our wedding; those are actions I would expect of a teenager who doesn’t take their job seriously, not a ‘professional’ photographer.”

The couple is doing everything they can to spread the word about their unfortunate and unprofessional experience with Theresa Forrest Photography to ensure that no other potential clients get railroaded by her.  

“Clearly photography for Theresa Forrest is nothing more than a hobby she likes to do at her own convenience, and nothing more than that.  A true professional would never bail on a client regardless of the circumstance.  Anyone even considering hiring her should know what she did to us, and should take that into account when making their decision about what photographer to hire.   But, as a firm believer in everything working out the way it is supposed to, we were fortunate to find a photographer to shoot our wedding who blows Theresa Forrest Photography out of the water.  Just beware of this Reynoldsville, PA unprofessional photographer.”
