Jennings' Clients Honored With 25 Awards For Healthcare Marketing

Agency's Work Recognized With 25 Lamplighter Awards From NESHCo
 
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - June 6, 2013 - PRLog -- At a ceremony held in Newport, Rhode Island, Jennings client hospitals received an unprecedented 25 Lamplighter Awards from the New England Society for Healthcare Communications (NESHCo). NESHCo honors hospitals, agencies and healthcare facilities for excellence in marketing, public relations and communications. Integrated marketing campaigns produced by Jennings for six different New England hospitals were recognized with Lamplighter Awards.

The Lamplighters were established to showcase and honor healthcare communications excellence in the New England region. The 2013 competition included 385 entries –
a 25 percent increase over 2012 – from more than 86 organizations throughout the area. Entries were judged by the Carolinas Healthcare Public Relations & Marketing Society and the Louisiana Society for Hospital Public Relations & Marketing.

"With a record number of entries this year, it’s clear that the Lamplighter Awards are the region’s signature event for recognizing the best and brightest public relations, marketing and communications work from healthcare organizations throughout New England,” said Scott Orstad, NESHCo president. “This not only reflects the tremendous depth and breadth of creative talent at work in this region, but – since winners are evaluated on the results they achieve – it’s a testament to the effectiveness of the marketing communications they produce.”
