NBA Hall of Famer Dr. J All StarByron Scott Teed Off with Flex Alexander At Golf Benefit in Muskegon

MUSKEGON, Mich. - Sept. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Celebrated actor, Flex Alexander, best known for his starring role on the hit sitcom, ONE ON ONE (Snakes on a Plane, The Hills Have Eyes 2, Blue Bloods, CSI Miami), traveled in to Muskegon, Michigan with NBA Hall of Famer, Julius Erving(Dr.J), All Star Byron Scott, along with other celebrities to play golf in support of Muskegon Family Care and the I Know My Name Foundation..

On Saturday, September 14, 2013, Flex Alexander in partnership with the Muskegon Family Care officially kicked off the 1st Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament in Muskegon, Michigan which included an all-star celebrity golf tournament, live silent auction, and a Celebrity Awards Dinner. The dinner gala featured a live concert performance by Grammy nominated singer Shanice Wilson.

Flex Alexander is listed in Golf Digest Magazine as one of the “Top 10 Celebrity Golfers” in the world of golf.The celebrity roster of players included Julius Erving (Dr. J), Byron Scott, Michael T. Williams, Harold Green and Victor Green, Kyle Massey(That’s So Raven) and Christopher Massey(The Parkers).

In reference to Sports Stars who participated, Julius Erving was inducted in 1993 into the Basketball Hall of Fame and named by Sports Illustrated as one of the 40 most important athletes of all time. NBA All Star Byron Scott played for the Lakers for 10 consecutive seasons.

In relation to the upcoming expansion of the center through the addition of a new wellness center, Bridges elaborates, “To help this dream come true, Muskegon Family Care is partnering with I Know My Name an organization founded by Flex Alexander and Shanice Wilson. To that end , Flex and I will be hosting Muskegon’s first all celebrity golfing event at the Muskegon Country Club in an effort to ensure adequate funds are raised to complete this building project for our patients”.
