Bar1 Events 11th Annual "Crawl with the Creeps" Halloween Pub Crawl Keeps Excitement Six Feet Above

CHICAGO - Sept. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- It’s that time of year again. The fun, festival-filled Chicago summer will retreat and leave us with the chilly autumn breeze, football cheer and pumpkin beer. Sunny rooftop and patio drinking will be put on hold until next year, and Chicago’s 20- and 30-somethings will start to prepare for the city’s infamous “Pub Crawl Season,” better known to all other Americans as, the holiday season.

While some Chicagoans hibernate during the brutal winter months, outgoing locals choose to celebrate the season by warming up in their favorite pubs, often times being shuttled from one pub to another, in order to meet thousands of other similarly-minded locals and enjoy a multitude of drink specials at the city’s most beloved bars.

This year, Bar1 Events will help kick off Pub Crawl Season with the 11^th Annual, Crawl with the Creeps Halloween Pub Crawl.  The notorious Northside pub crawl has been consolidated this year to the Bar1 Events bar group’s four major bars: Redmond’s in Wrigleyville, Durkin’s and Duffy’s in Lakeview, and McGee’s in Lincoln Park. With the route covering only the big four, crawlers will have more time in each bar to take full advantage of the modestly-priced meal package.

“After a decade of hosting a consistently sold-out Halloween pub crawl, we decided to allow our nearly 2,000 creepy crawlers to congregate in the big ‘party’ bars. In doing this, we can hold our cash-prize costume contests at staggered times so those who want to participate in all of them will be able to. We can also focus our customer service on the crawlers, while granting them more time in the bar to enjoy our specials, rather than on the trolleys moving between six bars. We’re really excited to see how it pans out this year,” said Tom Piazza, Bar1 Events Owner.
