Blitz Inc Holds Pub Crawl in Seattle’s Belltown Neighborhood to Benefit Operation Smile

SEATTLE - Sept. 30, 2013 - PRLog -- Local Bellevue-based sales and marketing firm, Blitz Inc, announced plans over the weekend on the company's initiative to raise over $1,000.00 for the global nonprofit organization, Operation Smile. This fundraising initiative, dubbed "Operation Pub Crawl" will take place Saturday, October 5th at 6:00 PM. Attendees will be required to register at the door and the first 50 people registered will receive a free Operation Smile branded t-shirt.

Blitz Inc Bellevue has dedicated their entire philanthropic efforts of 2013 to this charity in particular. Tom Peck, Blitz Inc CEO, reviews the company’s current charity work: “Here at Blitz Inc, we understand that in order to achieve a higher level of fulfillment, we must reach out to those who are in need. The global charity, Operation Smile, provides medical treatments, education, and aftercare for children born with cleft lip and cleft palate. Through a collaborative effort of over 5,000 medical volunteers from over 80 countries, Operation Smile provides free surgeries and implements self-sustaining policies and procedures through medical training of local medical staff. Since the charity utilizes medical volunteers, costs are as low as $240.00 per surgery.

In previous months, Blitz Inc Bellevue has attended home games of Bellevue College’s basketball team to raise funds for this charity. Tom Peck of Blitz Inc reviews the company’s previous results: “One of our client managers, Angela, has been a coach of the women’s basketball team at Bellevue College and suggested that we utilize the venue to raise funds. All of our employees rallied around this idea and we were able to raise over $300 from donations. For those who donated, we gave them an Operation Smile branded bracelet. For this weekend’s event, “Operation Pub Crawl” will begin at Cellars and registration will be held from 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM with the first 50 registrants receiving Operation Smile t-shirts.
