HOUSTON - Oct. 9, 2013 - PRLog -- Fancy skirts, tight curls, classic bow tie, and let’s not forget the sharpness in the black jacket! Who said, a party would never hurt anyone, well at least not this one. In the most sophisticated manner, on Wednesday, November 20th, 2013 at 4:00 PM at the modern Sam Houston Hotel located in downtown Houston, will feature beautiful Art Deco, music, dancing, and a few surprises. AfriPRO Houston in partnership with USBACC presents “The Great Gatsby”; we will take you back to the Roaring 20's and recreate the feeling of days gone by. . You do not want to miss this because there will be no church in the wild!

This Soiree will be far from swanky but intact with young professionals unleashing their alter ego and humanitarian efforts. This year, guests are asked to bring school supplies and toiletries for organizations that are disrupting Africa with their community activism. The items will benefit Slum2School Project (www.slum2school.org), a vibrant and modest organization that has big dreams of sending slum children across Nigeria back to school  and Hannah’s House. Hannah’s House (www.thehannahshouse.org) is an international ministry that advocates for women and children’s health, education and community development through awareness.
