THANE, India - Oct. 22, 2013 - PRLog -- Our Client Mr. Gaurav Gandhi, is the proprietor and applicant for the patent application in respect of ‘A Method of Preparing a Forged Plate Having Antique Appearance’, in India under patent application no. 3048/DEL/2013, filed on 11th October 2013, which is also the priority date of the patent application.

Please note that any patent filed after the priority date covering the same or substantially similar invention, shall not have the priority on this invention and consequently shall not have any legal standing, under the provisions of Patents Act, 1970 of India.

The patent application provides a method of preparing a forged plate having antique appearance with a protruded slot capable of housing a spring and fixing to a handle, the method comprising the steps of: a)      punching a first hole, a second hole and a third hole on a plate near a first end, second end and a central region of the plate; b) forging the plate to create a protruded slot around the third hole wherein the forging causes compression of the portion of the perimeter of the plate near the third hole; c) fixing the forged plate in position by inserting extended arms of a stationary body into the first and second hole; and d) cutting the forged plate.

We hereby notify publicly and to whomsoever it may concern that in respect of the said application and the invention covered in the application, that any attempt whether successful or unsuccessful to copy, reproduce, use, recreate, import or practice the patent pending invention or any invention substantially similar to the patent pending invention, may be in contravention of law of India, and shall attract suitable legal action on Civil as well as Criminal grounds, including claims of compensation and injunctions.
