Teesside is given first exclusive preview of all-new Transit at Jennings Ford

TEESSIDE, U.K. - Oct. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Customers wanting to see the latest addition to Ford’s award-winning commercial vehicle range can do so this week at Jennings Ford’s commercial vehicle sales centre on Cargo Fleet Lane in Middlesbrough, where the all-new model will be on display until Saturday 26^th October 2013.

Alan Bailes, general commercial manager at Jennings Ford in Middlesbrough, said; “For the past four decades, the Ford Transit model has been the best-selling commercial vehicle in the country.  We are absolutely delighted to be the first dealer to preview the all-new model, which isn’t scheduled to be officially launched until early 2014.

“Already we have taken a number of enquiries from prospective customers, so being able to preview the model at this exclusive event ahead of the launch, is an absolutely fantastic opportunity.”

Offering increased carrying capacity, an array of advanced technologies and low running costs, the all-new Transit will be available in a variety of bodystyles, including van, double cab-in-van, chassis cab, double cab and bus variants.

Customers will also be given a choice of front wheel drive, rear wheel drive and all wheel drive, up to five different body lengths and gross vehicle mass options ranging from 2900kgs to 4700kgs.

Expected to be the most efficient vehicle in its class as a result of a range of ECOnetic technologies, including Auto-Start-Stop which can save up to 10% on fuel, the all-new Ford Transit has also been specifically designed to help customers work more efficiently, with the option to double the cab up as a mobile office.

Customers can take advantage of an optional fold-down work table, multiple stowage areas and two 12v power supply points.
