Michael Dawkins Home Opens Brand New Design Showroom & Studio in New York

NEW CITY, N.Y. - Nov. 27, 2013 - PRLog -- Michael Dawkins, multi-hyphenate designer, entrepreneur and curator, brings New York the first multi-level showroom collection of its kind for home, inspired living and design solutions, beginning December 2, 2013, located at 232 East 59^th Street, within the destination ‘designer’s way’ corridor of New York City.

An ambitious display emporium tailored to the architectural design trade, as well as discerning consumers, this brand new contemporary showroom designed and built to specification by Michael Dawkins, will showcase private label products and collectible art at an accessible price point. Michael Dawkins Home will open its doors in early December, through a series of special designer tours and by-invitation industry events, to occur during operating business hours, 10AM-6PM.

Elevating and revitalizing the contemporary scene in New York for both designers and private clients alike, is the main mission of Michael Dawkins Home, realized through a downtown sensibility, conveniently located uptown.

Michael Dawkins, a demonstrated and well-published interior and industrial designer, decided to expand his global, built project work beyond Brazil, Mexico and Miami into New York City. This sophisticated, new venue will be a working design studio as well as a showroom.

Originally from Michigan, where he received design education, Michael Dawkins began his early career in Los Angeles. Over the past thirty years, he built a multi-million dollar creative enterprise as a global designer of homes, commercial venues, products and accessories.
