Marking clean India week live cleaning session at Goregaon best depot

Dec. 4, 2013 - PRLog -- Mumbai, Dec 3^rd : Celebrating ‘Clean India Week’ from December 2 to December 7, 2013, with its seasoned expertise in clean industry, Clean India Team of Virtual Info Systems took further initiative in creating awareness through organizing a live cleaning session at Goregaon Bus Depot in participation with Karcher Cleaning Systems Private Limited and Kaarya Facilities and Services Pvt Ltd.

Shripat Kare, Deputy Chief Engineer, Western Suburb, BEST, incharge of six depots said, “A welcome step from Clean India team and its partners. By cleaning the fleet, buses, restrooms and toilets with they have showcased possible improvements in cleaning and maintenance which is done by our engineering department.” Talking about the B.E.S.T practices and expenses on cleaning, “We spend 1/4^th of the total expenditure on cleaning and maintenance. We usually have one Assistant Engineer and one Senior Engineer at each depot to supervise the whole,” added Kare.

While the eight member Team of Kaarya headed by Nilesh, Senior Manager - Kaarya cleaned the toilets and restrooms at the depot, Karcher team headed by AK Sahu, Territorial Manager – Karcher, cleaned the bus there. “We have used R6 chemical, perfect to clean the toilet seats and floor, R1 to sanitize and R5 liquid for air freshness,” added Nilesh.

Sahu said, “Along with RM 81 liquid in 1/3 ration with water, we have used 3-phase SD 7/17 car washer that took around half-an-hour to clean a whole bus. The good thing is that one janitor is enough to do the job within the prescribed time bringing extra gloss on bus.” Talking about the demo, “Thanks to the Clean India team, this is a great opportunity for us to demonstrate the latest product benefits to our end consumers and we would like to do so more in future as part of our CSR.”

Preceding Clean India Pulire, Clean India Week 2013 is a curtain raiser to the various new product launches, technologies, latest software to be showcased at the event, a roadmap on the future clean India market developments.
